Jobdescription
We are seeking a talented Legal Counsel who will work closely with all functions within EasyPark Group on a broad range of legal matters, serving primarily European and UK regions. This is an exciting opportunity where you will get to work in a leading, fast-growing tech company and play an important role in supporting the global business.
As Legal Counsel, you will be an essential member of a global, growing legal team, and work closely with business stakeholders throughout the organization to support various projects, product development and contract negotiations. You will use your strong interpersonal skills and your ability to combine legal knowledge with business acumen to advise our teams and create pragmatic solutions to complex legal issues.
You will contribute and make an impact through the following core responsibilities:
● Review, draft and negotiate customer contracts, vendor agreements, licensing agreements and bespoke strategic partnership agreements
● Offer legal support and guidance on e-commerce, consumer protection, and privacy issues (in collaboration with the company’s Data Protection Officer)
● Support special projects as needed in areas such as acquisitions, regulatory compliance, cybersecurity, etc.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and manage legal risks effectively
● Collaborate with and manage external counsel as necessary
● Conduct legal workshops and trainings for employees
● Assist with designing, building and improving internal legal operations and processes as EasyPark continue to grow and scale
This role is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Outgoing and curious - > Since networking and establishing long-term cross-functional relationships with people in different roles from different cultures and countries are essential to this role’s success, you are outgoing, curious and comfortable having relationships with many different types of people.
We don’t think one size fits all, but a successful candidate will have the following:
● Master of law from a reputable university or law school
● 6 or more years commercial legal experience as in-house legal counsel at a fast-paced company and/or at a top-tier corporate law firm
● Solid understanding of contract law with deep experience of drafting and negotiating commercial agreements of various types
● Solid knowledge of European e-commerce, consumer protection and privacy laws
● Affinity with technology and its applications; experience working in a global environment where navigating projects across different time zones, languages, and cultures are the norm every day
● Fluent in Dutch and English. Fluency skills must be both written and verbal. Proficiency in German, Italian or any other European language skills are preferred as you will work with colleagues and stakeholders in various countries.
